Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in Tulsa, OK in their search for a Mechanical Engineer. This role offers a chance to enhance your engineering skills within a regulated aerospace context and to join a supportive team.

You will plan and support FAA Repair Station activities, evaluate engineering issues with FEA, and help manage schedules and documentation. A BS in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years in aerospace/defense with FAA knowledge are required; competitive hourly pay

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated industry (aerospace/defense) with FAA knowledge preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and support FAA Repair Station activities, including FAA FAR component repair solutions and FAR-145 repair processes.
  • Evaluate and resolve technical feasibility, engineering design, production, and testing issues using analytical tools including FEA (Finite Element Analysis).
  • Develop and manage engineering project schedules, budgets, milestones, and customer requirements while providing project updates and reports.
  • Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, and applicable FAA regulations.
