- Job Type: 12-Month Contract (Potential to Convert Permanent or Be Extended)
- Pay Rate: 65–80 Per Hour (Starting)
- Location: Tulsa, OK
Responsibilities:
- Support FAA Repair Station activities and FAR-145 component repair processes
- Develop and implement engineering solutions for aerospace component repairs
- Evaluate and resolve technical, design, manufacturing, and production issues
- Support the development of FAA/DER-approved repair solutions
- Perform engineering analysis, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Plan and manage engineering projects, including schedules, milestones, budgets, and customer requirements
- Review designs for compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and contractual requirements
- Coordinate technical development, testing, scheduling, and resolution of engineering issues
- Work closely with customers, engineering teams, and production personnel
- Prepare technical documentation, project updates, and completion reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related engineering discipline required
- 3+ years of engineering experience within a regulated industry, preferably aerospace or defense
- Knowledge of FAA certification, FAR-145 Repair Stations, or aerospace component repair strongly preferred
- Experience with engineering analysis and FEA
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Hands‑on engineering mindset with the ability to understand both detailed technical issues and overall project requirements
- Self-motivated team player with strong organizational and project management skills
