Job summary

RTX invites you to explore aerospace through internships, co‑ops and full‑time roles. This position helps create and modify mechanical designs to meet project requirements, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and support build and teardown activities with precise execution.

You will apply CAD skills (UG NX or similar) to develop models and drawings, learn to interpret blueprints, and understand bearing compartments in engine design.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.
• Experience with Unigraphics NX or similar computer‑aided design (CAD) tools.
• Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Play a vital role in creating and modifying mechanical designs to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver engineering solutions.
• Support build and teardown activities, ensuring designs are implemented correctly.
• Utilize engineering drawings and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Apply knowledge of CAD tools to develop models and drawings.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure project success.
