Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX business, is offering a full-time co-op in mechanical design engineering for January–July/August. You will develop aircraft mechanical cargo systems, design, integrate, and test components, and work across teams including Customer Teams, Hardware & Software Designers, and Production.

Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, have CAD software experience (NX, Catia, Creo, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD), and

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and enrolled through internship.
• Experience with CAD software such as NX, Catia, Creo, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Autodesk.
• Minimum of 45 credit hours by the start of the internship/co-op session.

Responsibilities

• Support development of aircraft mechanical cargo systems with the design, integration, and test.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Teams, Hardware & Software Designers, Test Engineers & Technicians, Supply Chain, Production & Quality.
• Perform engineering work, applied research, development, and design to meet specifications.
• Operate CAD software to design components and complete drawings.
