Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Wilson, NC is hiring for a 3rd shift assembler. You will learn to set up, assemble, and load parts, read schematics, and follow detailed work instructions to produce quality components.

Responsibilities include operating hand and machine tools, maintaining safety and quality standards, and rotating through stations. Overtime and extended days/weekends may be required; HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/technical education in related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, assemble, and load parts.
• Demonstrate proper use of hand and machine tools with basic troubleshooting around machine set up and function.
• Read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.
• Maintain quality product standards with no defects; identify part defects and escalate as needed.
• Build parts that meet customer deadlines while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Comply with EH&S policies and wear required PPE; participate in audits and continuous improvement.
