Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Wilson, NC is hiring for an onsite assembler. You will learn to set up, assemble, and load parts, and read procedures and schematics to ensure product quality. The role is first shift, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime and safety responsibilities. You must be able to stand 8+ hours and keep a clean, organized workspace in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Interpret schematics and assembly instructions.
• Read and follow procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain quality standards with no defects.
• Rotate through workstations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, assemble, and load parts.
• Demonstrate proper use of hand and machine tools with basic troubleshooting.
• Read and follow procedures, routing and work instructions.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer deadlines.
• Comply with EH&S policies and wear PPE.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Attend site training and recertification as required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; rotate workstations as needed.
