Collins Aerospace is seeking an Assembly Operator for an onsite, 3rd shift position in Coralville, IA. Training on 1st shift for up to four weeks is required.

The role focuses on machine and manual assembly, soldering, and computer work, with strict adherence to procedures and quality standards. You will read and follow intricate work instructions, own process accuracy, and collaborate across teams to meet internal and external deadlines while complying with ACE quality systems.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required; 2 years relevant experience acceptable in lieu.
• U.S. citizenship required for access to program/contract.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift; training on 1st shift for up to 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine or manual assembly per procedures and work instructions.
• Read and follow routing and work instructions with accuracy.
• Interface with teams to resolve production issues and meet deadlines.
• Support cost reduction, waste minimization, and audits as needed.
• Wear safety equipment and work in a repetitive production environment.
