Responsibilities

• Select appropriate materials for applications in manufacturing and development processes.
• Analyze materials test data to evaluate performance and safety.
• Generate detailed material compatibility and process compliance reports.
• Collaborate with design engineers to meet specifications and NASA standards.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to maintain material quality.
• Develop material usage agreements and material usage lists.
• Write material control plans and participate in design reviews.
• Support testbed development and report results.
