Job summary

Parker Aerospace’s Exotic Metals Forming Division seeks a Division Materials Planning Manager to strategically plan and coordinate material flow from suppliers to delivery. You will lead Purchasing and Supplier Quality, drive supplier evaluation, and manage budgeting and lean initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in high-volume manufacturing materials management, aerospace experience preferred, and strong analytical/communication skills to partner with cross-functional teams across the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or materials management.
• Minimum 5 years purchasing/materials management experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Aerospace industry experience preferred.
• Experience with supply chain systems including JIT, MRPII, and cellular manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and materials management activities including supplier evaluation and pricing.
• Matrix responsibilities for Production Planning and MRP data ownership.
• Manage division materials metrics and performance standards.
• Define and implement automated systems to plan and track material flow.
• Ensure policies align with inventory control objectives.
• Advise on supplier-managed inventory and contracts with customers.
• Support internal/external audits of planning, procurement, and inventory.
• Prepare and manage the department budget; drive cost reduction programs.
• Provide professional development for materials team members; promote best practices.
• Benchmark supplier management systems and lean principles within the division.
