Job summary

Composite Horizons in Covina, CA seeks a Materials Planner to develop and maintain a level loaded master schedule. The role ensures PO alignment with ERP requirements and coordinates with Directors of Operations, PMs, and manufacturing to mitigate capacity issues daily.

Qualifications

• APICS experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• A minimum of 1–3 years' experience.
• Aerospace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains level loaded master schedule to meet sales & operating plan.
• Verifies PO adherence with ERP production requirements.
• Coordinates with operations leadership to resolve capacity issues daily.
• Prioritize schedules in response to demand, capacity or changes in sales.
• Prepares and updates master schedule spreadsheets and generates risk analyses and corrective actions.
• Champion continuous improvement for on‑time scheduling and delivery performance.
• Identify and implement system and process improvements across supply chain.
• Forecast development to improve inventory turns and cash cycle.
• Analyze inventory levels to determine reorder points and safety stock.
• Improve forecast accuracy through collaboration with Production, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
• Develop KPI improvements (Stock Turns, Premium Freight, DSA metrics).
• Develop and maintain forecast and procurement plan based on history and new launches.
• Review forecast, production schedules and material requirements.
• Proactively review supply and demand to trigger push/pull actions.
