Job summary

RTX in San Dimas, California is seeking a Material Planner to optimize inventory, forecast demand, and manage MRP inputs. You will collaborate across functions to support SIOP and drive improvements in forecast accuracy and cycle times, while supporting entitlement and inventory strategy. Travel up to 10% as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a University Degree, 2+ years in material planning or related fields, and proficiency with SAP MRP and BI tools. This role onsite in CA.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
• Experience in material planning, supply chain, or inventory control.
• Proficiency with SAP MRP parameters and planning strategies.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory trends, drive actions to meet targets, and set MP parameters per EMP/IE standards.
• Provide MP inputs to Master Data Planners including MRP types, min order quantities, and lot sizes.
• Support inventory forecasting, including input/output models and reason codes for inventory inaccuracy.
• Track performance against financial plans and provide inventory inputs to SIOP.
• Manage forecasting for production-planned purchased parts and planning strategies.
• Review shelf-life reports and act on items at risk.
