Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Materials Planning, SIOP to support production factories and programs. You will help prevent work stoppages by coordinating material availability and scheduling across multiple teams.

The role requires a university degree or advanced degree with 2+ years in supply chain or production environments, experience with MRP/ERP, and the ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance. On-site in Tucson; salary range is provided by RTX.

Qualifications

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
Experience within Supply Chain, Production Control, Scheduling, Manufacturing, Operations, or other production driven environments.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and coordinate training to improve metrics and system accuracy.
Improve flows for assemblies in progress, material availability, and potential production issues.
Release work orders and track material through the assembly process.
Support analysis of material demand and prepare work orders based on shop load and inventory requirements.
Coordinate interdepartmental activities with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.
Lead projects and teams to accomplish continuous improvement.
Control on-hand material through its life cycle; issue to work orders or projects, returns to suppliers, ships to customers.
