Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies seeks a Materials Planner to develop and maintain accurate BOMs in the MRP system, ensuring material availability aligns with production schedules for custom aircraft interiors.

The role requires translating engineering designs into material requirements, coordinating with Engineering, Procurement, Ops, Sales and others to optimize planning accuracy and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of materials planning, production planning, or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Aerospace or aircraft interiors experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine engineering drawings for material specifications and accuracy.
• Build BOMs in the MRP system and determine make vs buy decisions.
• Ensure data integrity in MRP for planning, procurement, and production.
• Calculate material requirements from schedules and forecasts.
• Generate purchase requisitions aligned with production needs.
• Monitor material deliveries and align with modification schedules.
