Job summary

Eaton's AER MSD Mission System Division is seeking a Material Operations Supervisor in Westminster, MD to lead receiving, stockroom, kitting, and shipping activities essential to the production schedule. The role includes guiding a team of material handlers and owning inventory accuracy across cycle counts and ERP data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years in materials management or HS with 5 years in same fields.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in manufacturing or operations.
• U.S. ITAR compliance; U.S. person status required.
• Experience with ERP/MRP inventory transactions and cycle counting.
• Experience leading a material operations team and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily material operations: receiving, stockroom, kitting, internal movement and shipping.
• Supervise and develop a team of material handlers; manage staffing and performance.
• Own site inventory accuracy; manage cycle counts and ERP data integrity.
• Ensure material availability to prevent line stoppages; coordinate with Supply Chain.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity.
• Ensure ITAR/ESD/safety compliance and support audits.
• Lead continuous improvement using lean tools (5S, kanban, pull).
• Support SIOP with material availability and capacity input.
• Collaborate with Quality on nonconforming material control and MRB.
