Job summary

Aether Aerospace is seeking a Material Control Handler in Hollywood, MD to support aerospace and precision manufacturing operations. You will receive, identify, store, issue, and track raw materials, components, tooling, and finished hardware throughout production.

Responsibilities include verifying incoming material, reviewing certifications, maintaining traceability, labeling inventory, issuing material to jobs, and recording movements in the inventory system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Familiar with various raw materials and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Verifying incoming material against purchase orders and packing documentation.
• Reviewing material certifications.
• Maintaining heat, lot, and batch traceability.
• Labeling and organizing inventory.
• Issuing material to jobs.
• Recording material movement within inventory or production-control system.
• Staging work for machining, welding, fabrication, assembly, inspection, and outside processing while maintaining separation of property types.
