Job summary

Aether Aerospace is seeking a Material Control Handler in Hollywood, MD to support aerospace and precision manufacturing operations. You will receive, identify, store, issue, and track raw materials, components, tooling, and hardware throughout production.

Responsibilities include verifying incoming material against POs, reviewing certifications, maintaining traceability, labeling, issuing materials to jobs, and recording movements in the inventory/production-control system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of logistics experience preferred, with ability to manage materials and inventory.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Capable of interpreting part numbers, purchase orders, drawings, and material documentation.
• Must be able to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Verifying incoming material against purchase orders and packing documentation.
• Reviewing material certifications.
• Maintaining heat, lot, and batch traceability.
• Labeling and organizing inventory.
• Issuing material to jobs.
• Recording material movement within the inventory or production-control system.
• Stage work for machining, welding, fabrication, assembly, inspection, and outside processing while maintaining separation of conforming, nonconforming, customer-furnished, and government-furnished property.
