Job summary

Eaton Corporation's IS AER FED division in Rumford, RI seeks a Materials Operations Manager to oversee material flow, scheduling and inventory control to meet MPS demands. You will lead procurement, receipt, disbursement and internal logistics, driving on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of five (5) years combined experience in Materials, Operations, Customer Service and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of one (1) year manager of people experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• This position requires access to export-controlled information; candidate must be a U.S. person as defined by regulations.
• No relocation benefit; within 50-mile radius of Rumford, RI; active-duty military candidates exempt from geographical area limitation.

Responsibilities

• Manage materials flow and inventory to support plant operations by applying lean material flow.
• Administer indirect and MRO purchasing per Eaton policies.
• Generate short-term production scheduling aligned with Network plan.
• Monitor execution of production schedule as defined by the Network.
• Escalate material availability to COE and Network teams.
• Drive forecast attainment aligned with the MPS from the SIOP plan.
• Execute shipment schedules aligned with customer priority dates.
• Champion continuous improvement using MMA, OPA, visual management, standard work and value stream mapping.
• Maintain target inventory levels and meet on-time delivery targets.
• Own plant data health activities including routings, WMS, MRO, shipping/receiving, and scheduling.
• Serve as point of contact for escalations related to SIOP plan execution.
