Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, is seeking a Materials Manager to drive lean manufacturing, lead hourly teams, and collaborate across manufacturing, materials, and 3PL. You will implement continuous improvement strategies to meet capacity, delivery, and cost targets in a demanding aerospace environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in manufacturing operations or a Master’s with 3+ years, plus proficiency in SAP, Solumina, Power BI and data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years in manufacturing operations, materials management, or related environment.
• Master’s degree plus 3+ years in engineering, manufacturing operations, or related environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement principles (Lean, CORE, QCPC).

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies and execute goals with business units to meet capacity, inventory controls, cost reduction, on-time delivery, and control tower measures.
• Lead and direct hourly workforce across multiple organizations to ensure smooth production flow.
• Collaborate with CSMC administration, materials, operations, and 3PL to redefine processes and meet customer expectations.
• Communicate requirements to peers and management to support production priorities.
• Establish and apply lean manufacturing measures to balance value streams and operations.
