Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a leading aerospace engine maker, seeks an R&D Operations Planner to align material availability, production schedules, and delivery requirements. You will drive material management, planning, and scheduling execution, optimize inventory, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet CMC development goals.

The role emphasizes planning leadership, detailed schedules for the CMC COE, and ongoing process improvements using lean and Industry 4.0 tools to enhance responsiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field with strong analytical skills.
• Minimum 5+ years in materials planning, production scheduling, and/or aerospace manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute planning to align production plans with demand forecasts.
• Own and maintain the production schedule ensuring alignment with capacity and material availability.
• Identify and implement improvements to scheduling accuracy and efficiency.
