Job summary

RTX invites qualified candidates to join the Pratt & Whitney Engineering Development Program as an Engineer I in Materials & Processes. You will engage in engine component development, materials analyses, testing, and support across commercial and military applications.

The program emphasizes hands-on rotations, with outcomes including data analysis, reporting, and recommendations to advance to aligned groups after the rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related STEM major by start date.
• Experience with common materials characterization and test methods (e.g., mechanical tests, thermal analysis, spectroscopy, microscopy).
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for engine component, materials and/or chemical process development, analyses, testing and support for commercial and military engine applications.
• Document and analyze data/results, prepare reports and presentations, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
