Job summary

Eaton's MSD Mission Systems Division seeks a Supervisor, Material Operations in Greenwood, SC to lead the site’s material operations team—receiving, stockroom, kitting, and shipping—to support the production schedule.

You will supervise hourly staff, own inventory accuracy, and partner with Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to protect on-time delivery while driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years in materials management or related fields, or HS with 5 years' experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in manufacturing/operations.
• No sponsorship required now or in future; ITAR compliance required for U.S. persons.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory transactions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily material operations across receiving, stockroom, kitting, internal movement and shipping.
• Supervise and develop a team of material handlers and coordinators, including staffing and performance management.
• Own inventory accuracy: manage cycle counts, analyze variances, and maintain ERP data.
• Ensure material is kitted and staged to the production plan; escalate shortages with Supply Chain.
• Drive KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory turns; report in daily meetings.
