Job summary

Platform Aerospace is seeking a Production Control Technician in Hollywood, MD to coordinate daily manufacturing activities, monitor WIP, and ensure on-time delivery. The role serves as a key liaison among Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Inventory Control, and Manufacturing Operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in production control, manufacturing, production planning, operations, or related environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules and WIP to support on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Inventory Control to resolve issues.
• Support planning, workload prioritization, and capacity planning.
• Provide status reports and recovery plans for production meetings.
• Maintain and report key production metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
