Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics in Auburn, CA is seeking a Material Handler to receive, move, stock, and ship materials to support on-time production. You will maintain inventory, read work orders, and assist with cycle counts in a lean manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have 1+ year manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, basic math, and proficient MS Office skills. This position requires eligibility for access to controlled data and ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Familiar with warehousing and materials; lean principles.
• Outstanding manual dexterity and ability to concentrate on repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and read work orders.
• Strong math skills and verbal communication; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory control by following instructions and processes.
• Move materials to and from receiving, production areas and shipping by hand or with equipment.
• Unpack, receive, and stock materials in storeroom locations.
• Read work orders to determine material and equipment needs for production.
• Issue materials to production cells and perform cycle counts.
