Job summary

Relativity Space is building Terran R and related manufacturing capabilities. The Stage Manufacturing team owns the build of Terran R’s primary structures, turning design into real systems with hands-on collaboration across engineers and technicians.

With a launch-ready plan, the team delivers scalable testing and continuous process improvements to push the program forward. You will lead multi-disciplinary test campaigns, author procedures, and work with design, manufacturing, and quality teams

Qualifications

• BS degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years building and testing hardware in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience authoring test procedures for mechanical, electrical and pneumatic assemblies.
• Experience partnering with design engineering, manufacturing and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Own development, validation, and refinement of test assets and processes across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Drive the technical execution of mechanisms and integrated assembly testing.
• Provide technical leadership in workcenter development and safety compliance.
• Provide hands-on support to shop floor and production personnel, addressing test issues.
• Analyze test data to evaluate assembly performance and lead root-cause analysis.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless manufacturing test processes.
