Job summary

Relativity Space in California is hiring for the Stage Manufacturing team to own the development, validation, and refinement of test assets across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. You will drive the technical execution of mechanisms and integrated testing, collaborating with design, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure scalable production campaigns and reliable results.

Qualifications

• BS degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing engineering or related discipline with 2+ years of hardware in manufacturing.
• Proven experience authoring test procedures for mechanical, electrical and pneumatic assemblies.
• Experience partnering with design engineering, manufacturing and production teams to execute tests and investigate failures.
• Experience designing and managing large-scope test systems and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own development, validation, and refinement of test assets and processes across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Drive technical execution of mechanisms and integrated assembly testing including tooling and BOM development.
• Provide technical leadership in workcenter development for assembly and test operations, safety compliance, and tooling.
• Hands-on support on shop floor and address test issues with upstream feedback for manufacturability and testability.
• Analyze test data to evaluate assembly performance and lead cross-functional root cause analysis.
