Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. is seeking a Stage Manufacturing professional to turn design into reality for Terran R structure builds. You will cover the shop floor, clearing barriers and maintaining momentum to keep production moving on primary structures.

You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, reliability teams and external vendors, applying DFx feedback and driving standardization and improvements in high-fidelity manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• 1+ years progressive and related experience
• Hands-on project history supporting complex assembly builds
• Ability to make risk decisions to keep production moving
• Strong interpersonal skills to interface with engineering and manufacturing
• Solid fundamentals in statics, mechanics of materials, process improvement/factory design, fastening and joining, machining
• Knowledge of drilling, trimming and other manufacturing processes and GD&T
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize in a high-pressure environment

Responsibilities

• Cover the shop floor for a primary structure assembly work center and keep production moving
• Champion process improvements across multiple work centers for Terran R build
• Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing, reliability teams and external vendors
• Create work instructions, specifications, and best practices; standardize processes
• Provide Design for Manufacturing feedback to structures teams during development and prototype builds
