Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician B in Ashburn, VA. The role focuses on fabricating components and assemblies for unmanned aerospace applications within a fast-paced production and R&D setting.

You will lay up composites, perform bonding and finishing, and work with precision tools while adhering to safety and quality standards. A willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving parts and chemicals is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 yrs post secondary/Associates degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent people skills and teamwork in a diverse environment.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, procedures and schedules.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds routinely.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate components and assemblies for unmanned aerospace applications.
• Construct carbon fiber, fiberglass, and Kevlar layups and perform bonding and finishing operations.
• Perform part-fitting, drilling, riveting, and other mechanical assembly steps.
• Maintain safety and quality standards; monitor and verify finished products.
