Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a Manufacturing Technician B at our Culpeper, VA site. Work 1st shift, 10-hour days, 4 days a week, contributing to solid rocket propulsion and energetics production.

You will join a cross-functional team fabricating components and assembling them into advanced rocket systems for national defense. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience or an associate's degree with 0-2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Precision assembly of complex aerospace components.
• Fabrication, cleaning and assembly of equipment and tools.
• Case prep, line and cast, cure, strip, and machine solid rocket propellant.
• Mix or process liner materials and apply liners.
• Maintain records for manufactured products.
• Work safely to produce high-quality products and keep area clean.
• Apply general manufacturing knowledge to solve basic problems.
• Assist supervisor/lead to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Ability to obtain US Security Clearance.
