L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Technician B for our Culpeper, VA site. The role supports solid rocket motor propulsion and energetic development with a 4/10 schedule, four 10-hour days per week, in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

You will join an experienced cross-functional team to fabricate, assemble, test and prepare rocket components for shipment, while maintaining records and following safety protocols. A security clearance may be required for ongoing programs.

Qualificações

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with precision assembly such as use of torque tooling, mix and apply adhesives, leak check testing, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Perform precision assembly of aerospace components.
• Fabricate components, clean and assemble equipment, clean tools, parts, and work area, operate machinery.
• Case prep, line and cast, cure, strip, and machine solid rocket propellant.
• Maintain records for manufactured products.
• Work safely while producing a high-quality product and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
