The role covers concept through production, integration, and testing with rapid development cycles. The ideal candidate brings strong 3D CAD expertise (Creo, Catia, NX, SolidWorks), leadership experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering; 6+ years experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling and design reviews (PDR/CDR).
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual and detail design of unmanned aircraft structures.
• Author PDRs, CDRs and participate in design reviews.
• Manage CAD modeling of parts and assemblies.
• Drive schedule, cost, and technical execution for internal product teams.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Travel up to 10%.
• Interface to customers and upper management.
