Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician in Ashburn, VA to join a fast-paced production and R&D environment. You will support design processes, lead special projects, and liaise between engineering and manufacturing to ensure product quality and validation.

The role sits in the Agile Development Group focused on next-gen UAS/UAV, radar, and RF sensor tech. Requires hands-on testing, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associates with 2 years of related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance preferred; ability to obtain is required.
• Experience with C++, Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW or TestStand.
• Experience in electronics assembly, particularly harness assembly.
• Experience with factory acceptance testing of aerospace systems or similar industries.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing of products and sub-assemblies.
• Run automated and manual test scripts for acceptance testing, software/firmware loading, and sensor calibration.
• Operate network analyzers, power meters, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and related equipment.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot non-conforming products.
• Review test documentation and support manufacturing activities.
• Verify product quality and interpret results to confirm compliance with drawings and requirements.
• Identify and address safety concerns and uphold safety standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and engineering teams.
