Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Tukwila, WA, seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily operations, staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluation in an aerospace manufacturing department.

You will drive continuous improvement and ensure proper material, tooling, and documentation are in place while maintaining safe practices and housekeeping. The role requires 2–5+ years of supervisory experience in a machine shop, strong leadership, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control in area in accordance with production schedules and the Operations Manager.
• Reduce operating inefficiencies, absenteeism, rework time, and downtime within own sphere of responsibilities.
• Develop, train and motivate employees to acquire maximum efficiency, productivity, cooperation, and morale.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and proper training for hazardous materials and waste management.
• Maintain full documentation for all actions taken.
• Adhere to operational metrics including Production output, cost control, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area.
• Conduct performance reviews on a timely basis per division guidelines.
• Provide training to new employees.
• Schedule vacations per individual requests and production schedules.
• Coordinate status with supervisory personnel of adjacent shifts.
