Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in aircraft engines, seeks a candidate for a weekend night shift role at our US facility. You will learn to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines and participate in a structured training path.

The position includes on-the-job training, a 3-week classroom component and 4-8 weeks of hands-on training, with potential for certification as an Operator and long-term growth within RTX. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive or related trade preferred.
• Ability to perform basic calculations with decimals and fractions and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines.
• Attend a 3-week training program and participate in 4-8 weeks of on the job training.
• Learn to verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
