Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Manufacturing Operator in Asheville, NC for an onsite, 2nd shift role (4:15pm - 2:45am). The position focuses on training to become a certified machine operator through AB Tech and on-the-job training at Pratt & Whitney. Candidates will learn basic manufacturing processes and work with engineers, QA, and production staff.

The program offers comprehensive benefits and requires a high school diploma or GED with U.S. citizenship per program requirements.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• U.S. citizenship required per program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions.
• Learn to set up and operate production equipment and measuring devices.
• Obtain operator certification to accept/reject parts.
• Maintain machines via TPM.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and production staff to resolve issues.
