Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Asheville, NC seeks an onsite Production Operator for alternating work weeks. You will run a variety of manufacturing machines on the production line and perform quality checks on blades and vanes. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, U.S.

citizenship, and prior manufacturing experience or related certification. Shift-based overtime may be required; 5S and TPM duties are part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production machines and assist on the production line.
• Read and interpret process sheets and gage readings; perform deburr and clean parts.
• Conduct quality checks and document results on run charts; use TPM and Solumina for labor clocking.
• Maintain 5S standards and keep work area clean; perform setup changes as needed.
• Work overtime as required and participate in continuous improvement activities.
