Job summary

Capewell Aerial Systems in South Windsor, CT, seeks a Director of Operations to manage plant-wide processes and supervise managers, production supervisors, and leads. Reporting to the President, you will drive efficiency, oversee budgets, and maintain AS-9100 compliance while coordinating with purchasing, sales, engineering, and service teams.

You will foster growth of operational processes, build metrics, and ensure safety and morale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Extensive and diversified background with at least 10 years of related experience.
• Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Defining, implementing, and revising operational policies to improve day-to-day operations.
• Oversees manufacturing and coordinates with purchasing and sales to meet goals.
• Maintains and supports AS-9100 Quality Management System.
• Plans, directs, and monitors budgets and cost of sales to achieve financial objectives.
• Leads cross-functional coordination across operations, planning, engineering and customer service.
• Owns employee relations and drives issues to resolution.
• Ensures safe, compliant, and professional work environments.
