Job summary

Capewell Aerial Systems LLC in South Windsor, CT is seeking a Director of Operations to lead manufacturing operations, supervise managers, and report to the President & General Manager. The role requires driving efficient processes, aligning with quality and safety standards, and growing internal capacity.

You will define policies, oversee budgets, coordinate with purchasing, planning, engineering and customer service, and ensure AS-9100 compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of related experience.
• Excellent leadership and organizational abilities.
• Strong aerospace machining management experience.
• Background in ERP systems and proficient navigation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing regulations and operational guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Superior managerial and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Define and revise operational policies to improve day-to-day operations.
• Review and evaluate business and operational procedures.
