Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Production Lead for the 2nd shift at its Auburn, WA aerospace manufacturing facility. You will coordinate daily production across Assembly, Machining, and Sheetmetal, supervise staff, provide hands-on training, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement.

This role requires 5+ years in production and 5+ years in a lead role, aerospace experience, and ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership or lead role in a production setting.
• Experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of production processes and manufacturing equipment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop a team.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the daily production activities of 2nd shift.
• Support production leadership to meet safety, cost, quality, and schedule targets.
• Manage day-to-day direction of work, including flow of parts, people, and resources.
• Monitor production performance and take corrective action as needed.
• Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
• Train and mentor production staff in equipment and processes.
• Develop and implement production schedules to optimize throughput.
• Enforce policies consistently.
