Sky Limit Systems in the United States is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to design tooling, lead improvement projects, and help build a leaner, more efficient operation on the production floor. You’ll collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to optimize flow, troubleshoot issues, and mentor teammates while pursuing measurable cost savings and throughput gains.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience building or designing tooling and fixtures.
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership potential.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and implement tooling, fixtures, and process improvements to enhance production efficiency and quality
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize manufacturing flow
• Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, throughput, and cost savings
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production challenges
• Document standard work procedures and support lean transformation efforts across the floor
• Oversee small to mid-scale improvement projects from concept through implementation
• Serve as a technical mentor and potential future leader within the manufacturing team
