Job summary

Roll Forming Corporation seeks an experienced Process/Manufacturing Engineer to join our aerospace components facility in Shelbyville, KY. You will lead process improvements, review designs, and support tooling trials to optimize efficiency and quality.

You will work with operations to implement lean initiatives, perform time and capability studies, and develop robust processes for new and existing equipment while maintaining safety and compliance with ITAR/EAR requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or process engineering roles in a manufacturing or job shop setting with customer specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or related technical field of study.
• Strong computer skills including software: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor (CATIA preferred).
• Kaizen/Lean manufacturing experience.
• US Person as defined by ITAR & EAR.
• Local to Shelbyville, KY area or a commutable distance – this is an onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Lead process and product improvement initiatives and review designs for compliance.
• Assist in tooling tryout and development while troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
• Develop processes for new and existing equipment and perform time and process capability studies.
• Coordinate with operations to implement improvements and standardize manufacturing processes.
• Ensure safety and environmental standards are integrated into all activities.
