Blue Origin seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Operations team on the Space Coast, FL. You will lead the design and implementation of efficient manufacturing systems, ensure stringent quality control, and optimize supply chain logistics for Production/Operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration across design, quality, and production, with focus on DFx (DFM, DFA, DFT) and cost reductions while advancing aerospace manufacturing techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years in manufacturing/industrial/process engineering (Level 2/3/ Sr Manufacturing Engineer levels).
• 1+ year of experience creating English work instructions.
• U.S. citizen/national or eligible immigrant status and ability to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work second shift with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Industrialize new products across solar arrays, integration/test, avionics, and structures.
• Contribute to DFM/ DFA/ DFT to build reliable space vehicles.
• Translate requirements into robust manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams to accelerate space manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation (WIs, flow diagrams, tool designs, inspection plans).
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies (composites, precision machining, additive manufacturing, advanced assembly).
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Ensure alignment with AS9100/ISO 9001 safety standards.
