Job summary

Blue Origin in Merritt Island, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing system design, implement efficient processes, and ensure stringent quality control across Production/Operations. You will optimize supply chain logistics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve timelines and cost efficiency.

You will help translate engineering requirements into repeatable manufacturing processes, develop work instructions and process flows, and explore advanced techniques

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering roles.
• Experience creating English work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support industrialization of new products such as solar arrays, avionics, and structures.
• Translate requirements into robust manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design, QA, supply chain, and production teams to accelerate space vehicle production.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and inspection plans.
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and methods.
