Job summary

Blue Origin on the Space Coast in Florida is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design and implementation of efficient production systems, ensure rigorous quality control, and optimize supply chain logistics for Production/Operations.

You will collaborate with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to accelerate builds, reduce costs, and improve timelines, with relocation available and the chance to work on aerospace-grade manufacturing technologies.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical/manufacturing/electrical or aerospace engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial/process engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Industrialize new products across vehicle integration and test.
• Translate requirements into repeatable manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams.
• Develop manufacturing docs: work instructions, flow diagrams, inspection plans.
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies: composites, precision machining, additive manufacturing.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances.
