Job summary

Blue Origin, based on Space Coast, Florida, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design and implementation of efficient manufacturing systems for aerospace vehicles. The role emphasizes quality control, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with design, QA, and supply chain teams.

The candidate will work on DFMA/DFT practices, develop work instructions, and advance production timelines while adhering to AS9100/ISO 9001 standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering (3+ years Level 2; 5+ years Level 3; 8+ years Sr).
• 1+ years creating English work instructions.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.; ability to relocate to Space Coast, FL.

Responsibilities

• Industrialize new products with emphasis on manufacturability and test.
• Translate requirements into robust manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design, QA, supply chain, and production teams to accelerate production.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and inspection plans.
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and methods; implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
