Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Operations team in Space Coast, FL. You will lead design and implementation of efficient manufacturing systems, ensure strict quality control during production, and optimize supply chain logistics for Production/Operations.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering: 3+ years Level 2, 5+ years Level 3, 8+ years Sr.
• 1+ years creating English work instructions.
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible as refugee/asylum seeker for work authorization.
• Ability to work second shift and flexible hours.

Responsabilidades

• Industrialize new products in solar arrays, integration/test, avionics, and structures.
• Contribute to DFM/ DFA/ DFT for reliable space vehicles.
• Translate requirements into robust manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design, QA, supply chain, and production teams to speed up build timelines.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing docs: work instructions, flow diagrams, tooling designs, inspection plans.
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies (composites, machining, additive, advanced assembly).
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for reliability.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Participate in process FMEAs, risk assessments, and line validation.
• Identify efficiency gains and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Gain expertise in a specialty area (solar arrays, build flow, avionics, structures).
