Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in El Cajon, CA to support aerospace manufacturing projects through process planning, production readiness, and documentation control. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, compliant deliverables and create accurate work instructions for installations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4–6 years in production documentation, manufacturing planning, CAPP, BOMs, and reading engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Aerospace).
• 4–6 years of experience creating, revising and reviewing Production/Manufacturing documentation.
• Experience with manufacturing planning and authoring assembly work instructions.
• Experience with advanced Manufacturing methods and technologies.
• Experience in Build plan and Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP).
• Experience with Manufacturing Bill of Materials and reading Engineering drawings/Service Bulletins.
• High proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel and PPT).

Responsibilities

• Support active aerospace manufacturing projects through process planning and production readiness.
• Coordinate with project, quality, operations and engineering teams to ensure timely, compliant deliverables.
• Create and revise work instructions for installing components and systems.
• Prepare production/manufacturing documentation data and perform data analysis.
• Follow procedures and government/customer specifications for authoring.
• Maintain data in web/on-line tools and guide team during project execution.
