Under routine supervision, you will determine optimal methods and coordinate processes to meet customer, government, and company requirements. This role emphasizes process planning, tooling, and efficient production management.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree in manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace environment.
• Must understand fabrication, assembly and shop math, including algebra, trigonometry and spatial relations.
• Familiarity with material processes and the use and design of tools, fixtures and gauges.
• Prefer some working knowledge of computerized systems.

Responsibilities

• Determine optimal manufacturing methods and processes for producing company products, coordinating processes to meet requirements.
• Prepare BOMs and describe outside vendor services needed; approve vendor plans.
• Provide program management for parts and maintain production plans and sequencing for efficient manufacturing; coordinate all phases of manufacture.
• Review and implement changes to meet revised customer requirements and document progress with customers.
• Analyze discrepant parts, disposition nonconforming material and prepare rework procedures; provide technical support to resolve issues.
