Job summary

Center Industries in Wichita, KS seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to translate engineering data into producible aerospace-grade processes. You will own end-to-end manufacturing planning, including BOMs, production orders, routings, and MPS releases to support tight tolerances.

The role requires 4+ years in heavy manufacturing, hands-on metalworking, CATIA V5, GD&T, and ERP/MRP familiarity. Collaboration with design and shop floor teams is essential to ensure on-time delivery and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of planning/scheduling or operations routing in heavy manufacturing.
• Experience with aerospace metals or prime requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture orders, BOMs, and routings aligned to MPS and engineering releases.
• Lead end-to-end manufacturing planning for multi-axis CNC and sheet metal fabrication.
• Coordinate EO changes, analyze impact on WIP and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with programmers to optimize machining parameters and tooling.
