Job summary

Quest Global in Foley, AL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive improvements on the shop floor, focusing on product and process optimization in a highly regulated production environment.

You will develop standard work, maintain process documentation, and collaborate with Quality Engineers to ensure robust controls. This on-site role requires strong communication, safety training, and aerospace-industry exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ manufacturing or mechanical experience.
• CATIA or equivalent software experience.
• SharePoint and SAP experience preferred.
• Shop floor/manufacturing safety training.
• GD&T experience a plus.
• Aerospace industry exposure preferred.
• Ability to develop and present business correspondences.
• Experience in ambiguous situations requiring initiative.
• Strong communication and teamwork, with self-direction.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in manufacturing processes including products, equipment, and quality.
• Develop standard work combination sheet and production observation sheet.
• Maintain and control production process documentation.
• Present project updates to customers in reviews.
• Investigate and implement changes to manufacturing procedures.
• Assist on the shop floor as needed.
• Work with Quality Engineers on gauing and process control.
• Troubleshoot and continuously improve production processes.
• Follow work rules and safety standards.
• Own project goals and ensure success.
