Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 25+ years of experience modifying manufacturing build setups.
• 23 years of experience designing fixtures/tools using 3D SolidWorks.
• 35 years of experience in manufacturing process automation.
• 25 years of experience with capital equipment purchases in manufacturing.
• 12 years of experience with CNC machining (mills/lathes).
• Hands-on manufacturing engineering in production settings.
• Proficient in process improvement and optimization.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment/process issues with formal methods.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with clear priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support for development/modification/continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for custom aerospace components.
• Lead and implement manufacturing process improvements using data collection and structured problem solving.
• Diagnose equipment/process issues and implement durable corrective actions.
• Engineer in-house and subcontractor tooling solutions, including fixture and machine design changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support tooling, capital equipment, and process automation goals.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently with deadlines.
• Develop and maintain engineering procedures and standards.
